Biodiversitas 24: 2723-2732. L. is well known as guava has been used traditionally a medicinal plant for variety ailments all over the world, especially in infusions decoctions oral topical use. Every part this treating stomachache diarrhea many countries. Other reported uses include dermatitis, sores, epilepsy, wounds.Medicinal plants have an important role complementary alternative medicine because they produce various natural compounds with high therapeutic properties. Many researchers report that major chemical composition includes tannins, phenols, flavonoids, saponins, carbohydrates, alkaloids, sterols, terpenoids, phenolic compounds. The aim study to identify volatile non-volatile P. extract. This aimed phytochemical main identified were pyrogallol, ?-copaene, caryophyllene, aromadendrene, ?-humulene, alloaromadendrene, ?-muurolene, ?-selinene, ?-bisabolene, (-) globulol, caryophyllene oxide, ?-muurolol, epiglobulol. Based on LC-MS analysis, number such flavonoids; apigenin 7-?-?-D-glucuronopyranoside, quercetin, luteolin 7-O-glucuronide, naringenin 4?-O-glucopyranoside, myrecitin along derivatives quinic acid, catechin, epigallocatechin (4?,8)-gallocatechin tentatively identified.
